SALLEH SAID TIDAK DISENARAI, NASIR SAKARAN DIGUGURKAN, DOMPOK REBAH 10,216 MAJORITI, VICKY LDP MERATAP- APA KAU RASA GAMAN?

Oleh: Kakikukeko

Maaf gaman, Orang mu semua ku reject!
Musa Aman telah berjaya membentuk kabinetnya. Tiada lagi pemprotes tetapi semua YB bakal menjadi "pembuntut" dengan nya. Tiada lagi lagi pak geleng, semua pak angguk.

Ramalan ku benar belaka! pasti!. Dulu 2008 majoriti si Dompok ialah 3,063. Berapa tu jauhnya?

Syukurlah kau Maxi. Begini ke tahap seorang Menteri Persekutuan dan Timbalan Presiden PBS. Jadi ukurlah baju di badan sendiri. Kenapa? kalau bukan kerana nasib kau dah dibakul sampahkan.

The composition of the new Sabah cabinet, unveiled by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman on Friday, reflects well on Barisan Nasional (BN) power-sharing concept, said former deputy chief minister Datuk Seri Panglima Tham Nyip Shen.

Mumbai said...

“Without doubt, having won 31 state seats (out of the 32 they contested) Umno is the most powerful component in BN and quite rightly so got six of the cabinet posts – status quo maintained,” he said.

Mumbai said...

Tham also praised Musa for giving due recognition to the contribution of BN’s women representatives for filling up the Community Development and Consumer Affairs portfolio with another woman, Datuk Jainab Ahmad (Karambunai) after the previous minister, Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun was given the Beaufort parliamentary seat, which she won.

Mumbai said...

Musa also appointed two assistant women ministers, Anita Baranting (Tandek) and Datuk Hamisa Samat (Tanjong Batu).

Mumbai said...

But it has not gone unnoticed that this time around there is one less Chinese minister and also one less Chinese assistant minister, following the defeat of Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Dr Yee Moh Chai in Api Api and assistant minister Datuk Edward Khoo in Kapayan. The electorate returned three opposition candidates in Chinese-majority seats, the other being Sri Tanjong in Tawau.

Mumbai said...

If in the previous cabinet, Khoo and Yee were together with Datuk Peter Pang, this time around, PBS’ share in the cabinet went to Datuk Radin Malleh (Melalap) rather than to Datuk Edward Yong (Tanjung Aru).

Mumbai said...

But in previous cabinets, the Chinese usually were allocated two posts. It was only in 2008 that the Chinese had a third cabinet post. Other seats with Chinese concentration of voters included Likas and Luyang but these two seats were previously held by opposition SAPP.

Mumbai said...

Tham thus acknowledged that the task of the Chinese ministers is all the more heavier now, as they have to strive to effect the change of mindset of the Chinese voters who seem to have ditched the BN this time.

Mumbai said...

“What the cabinet must now do is to counter the lies of the opposition in every imaginable forum, in cyberspace especially, and at the same time analyse the factors that the voters are unhappy about,” he said.

Mumbai said...

Tham also reminded that Sabah voters are well known for changing governments. “This time around they may not have had a good reason to dump the government, unlike the West Malaysian voters. They think differently, but this however cannot be taken for granted,” he cautioned.

There are many reasons why Sabah deserves Musa Aman. First, he is a decent chap. In the rough and tumble of Sabah politics it is not easy to come across men and women of basic and simple decency. That in itself should be a good reason for his remaining at the forefront of Sabah politics. Second, he has done an impressive job.
While the Pakatan Rakyay plus SAPP has every right to criticise his government and question his record, the fact remains that Musa Aman has done more for Sabah than any other chief minister of this hapless state in the past five decades. Consider some simple numbers.

According to the state’s economic survey published earlier this year, Sabah’s economy registered an annual growth rate of 8 percent over the five-year period from 2004-05 to 2009-10, covering most of the term of Musa Aman. It was only 3.5 percent per year in the previous eight years.

This should rule out the idea of returning to an opposition regime. Sabah’s per capita income rose from RM4402.6 per year in 1990 to RM 8441.7 in 2010. This impressive growth comes from an across the board improvement in the state’s performance, barring the industrial sector.

Sabah transformation during Musa Aman leadership
Sabah’s agriculture sector, construction, education, health and services sectors have all witnessed impressive growth. Manufacturing and services have been identified as the main growth sectors accounting for 6.9 percent of the total 8.0 percent GDP growth.
The manufacturing sector alone is expected to contribute 33.1 percent to the total share of the GDP by the year 2010 from 9.1 percent in 1990. It is only in the industrial sector that the state’s economic survey shows low growth. The services sector, which consists of wholesale and retail, restaurants and hotels, transportation and communication, and other services is targeted to account for 39.3 percent of total GDP by 2010 with an average annual growth rate of 8.9 percent. Sabah has less than 25 per cent share of Malaysia’s agro-processing industries.

From a sluggish and directionless economy that Sabah chief minister Musa Aman inherited in 2003, the north Borneo island state has been booming like never before despite a global recession. This fact hasn’t been lost on prime minister Najib Razak. During a whirlwind visit to Kota Kinabalu on June 29, Najib gave his unequivocal support to Mr Musa for his spectacular socio-economic transformation of the north Borneo island state in his seven years of office. “I have not made any decision about anything,” Mr Najib told reporters who wanted to know if there would be changes in the state administration.

Mr Musa wants to make Sabah the most developed Malaysian state in five years. And his penchant for serving the people, particularly in bringing wealth to them, pleases Mr Najib who said that nothing else was more important than that.
“My advice is to concentrate on serving the people,” he said. “We must show that we are a party that cares for people.”
Being an economist, Mr Najib understands business better than anyone else and he finds in Mr Musa someone who can help him turn Malaysia into a high-income country under his government transformation programme, according to political pundits. They say Mr Najib has a lot of empathy for Sabahans’ aspirations and he understands their expectations.

Sabah BN is continuing to work to strengthen the party machinery in order to meet the expectations of the coming election. All matters and issues are being looked into seriously and put into proper perspective and dealt with appropriately.

We have been working harder to be a people-centric government which has and will continue to create comprehensive development that benefits all segments of society. I have always believed my government should talk less, work harder and deliver more in order to meet the expectations of the rakyat. This is what we have done for the last four years.

The rakyat will be the judge of what the BN government has achieved. Hence, we are ready to leave it to the wisdom of the rakyat to decide the outcome of the 13th general election.

The state BN always upholds the principle of being united and cooperative. We have always found the best approach to solve issues and problems. Of course, things might not always be perfect and there are always challenges.

Whatever differences we may have between parties can be overcome as long as we are sincere. This is not a one-man show or a one-man struggle. This struggle is for the party, the coalition and more importantly, for the people. At the end of the day, the BN has always come back to the main objective of serving the rakyat's needs as best we can.

Since I took over as the chief minister of Sabah, my approach has been very simple. I have always had an open door policy. I have always made time for talking over issues, building trust and strengthening understanding. From the start, the BN government has been based on cooperation among members of its component parties.

The contribution of all component parties to the success of the BN government is always of equal importance. We are all siblings in a big family. Sometimes one sibling or another will try to get extra attention. This is normal in any healthy family. As the one entrusted by the top leadership to look after the well-being of our BN component siblings, I am here to listen and to offer the best possible solutions.

From my own perspective, the Chinese community does not vote blindly based on personalities alone. They normally vote based on proven track records. As such the state BN government so far has performed outstandingly, particularly on matters related to economic development.

We are fortunate to have a visionary prime minister who introduced the 1Malaysia concept and the various transformation programmes that help to create a more balanced socio-economic development that meets the aspirations of the rakyat at large. And this, I believe, is one of the most crucial conditions to win the rakyat's hearts and minds. Therefore, I'm confident the Chinese community in Sabah will give their support to the BN government.

Anwar Ibrahim is a fraud, an overt proxy of foreign interests

An American political analyst says Barisan Nasional’s victory in the 13thGeneral Election did not just deny Pakatan Rakyat leader Anwar Ibrahim the opportunity to become Prime Minister, it denied the United States an opportunity to “subvert the elections and install a proxy regime”.

Writing in the blog Land Destroyer, Bangkok-based geopolitical researcher and writer Tony Cartalucci called Anwar a “Western proxy” and said Pakatan Rakyat (PR) “resembled verbatim attempts by the West to subvert governments politically around the world”.

Unknown said...

Anwar Ibrahim is a fraud, an overt proxy of foreign interests

Cartalucci highlighted funding of the Merdeka Centre for Opinion Research by the US government via the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and said “an election monitoring organisation funded by a foreign government which openly seeks to remove the current ruling party from Malaysia in favor of long-time Wall Street servant Anwar Ibrahim is most certainly not ‘independent’.”

Cartalucci also took aim at Bersih, pointing out the organisation had received funding from the NED’s National Democratic Institute (NDI) and George Soros’ Open Society Institute (OSI).

“The substantial, yet carefully obfuscated support the West has lent Anwar should be of no surprise to those familiar with Anwar’s history,” he wrote before listing out some of Anwar’s various connections to “corporate financier interests of Wall Street and London”.
